Hi Mint,

I copied your tutorial at http://bestwordpresstemplate.com/copy/general/instructions-for-copying-theme-plugins-setting-9/

However, my archives page on the navigation menu and the individual category pages are throwing up 404 errors.

Please advice.

Hi, regarding the "Archives" page (and other 'special' pages'), I have added a new instruction on the Copy and Dummy blog. So, please visit the Copy Blog to copy your setting:

Regarding the category slug, I think it your .htaccess or permalink or plugins (and not related to this theme), because I did a test installed and was able to access the category pages. So, I think you may 'try' to go to "Options => Permalinks" and hit the "Update Permalink Structure" button and see if you can access the category pages.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't realize the post was updated. Thanks a lot! It's resolved now.

Ok perhaps if anyone have problems with the category slug, here's how I got it resolved. As my permalink structure is set to only /%postname%/ , it is essential to change the category base to /category which I have done.
